Temperature Sensor 2nd Generation
The Nest Temperature Sensor (2nd Generation) is a compact device designed to monitor the temperature in specific rooms, helping to manage hot and cold spots within a home. It wirelessly connects to compatible Nest thermostats, such as the Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd and 4th Gen) and Nest Thermostat E, allowing for targeted temperature adjustments based on individual room readings. The sensor is powered by a replaceable CR2 3V lithium battery, offering up to three years of battery life. Users can install up to six sensors per thermostat, with a maximum of 18 sensors per home, to achieve a more balanced and comfortable indoor environment.
