Case Studies
Flamingo uses Seam to integrate resident access into their app
Flamingo is a resident experience app that serves some of the largest multifamily groups in the world. Their application is used across hundreds of thousands of apartment units to grant resident access and control thermostats.
Challenge
As Flamingo's customer base of large property managers expands, the number of new IoT integrations being requested grew beyond Flamingo's team's ability to integrate. Each new integration required dedicated engineers and product ops to roll out.
Solution
Flamingo worked with Seam to integrate the Seam Access Control API and Thermostat API into their server logic, as well as Seam's mobile SDK to grant access to residents. Seam's API allowed Flamingo to integrate dozens of access control and thermostat brands in just a few days.
