The Yale YDM3109A smart lock is a high-tech solution for securing your home, allowing you to lock and unlock your door, send virtual keys to guests, and receive notifications through the Yale Access App. You can choose the access method that works best for you, whether it's using a PIN code or an RFID card or tag. Additionally, you can access remote functionalities (with the Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge) and use Yale's DoorSense technology to know when your door is closed or ajar. In case of tampering, this smart lock also has a tamper alarm feature. In an emergency, you can use the mechanical key override for access, and there is also an emergency power supply option using a standard 9V battery.

Yale Access (APAC) is the Yale Access ecosystem used in parts of Asia and the Pacific region, including countries like India and South Korea. Some YDD, YDM, and YDR series locks connect through this platform. Even though it may use the Yale Access app name and a Yale Wi-Fi bridge, it connects to a regional Yale cloud system that is separate from the US and European versions.
