Latch R2
The Latch R2, where "R" stands for "reader," is designed for access control in common areas and amenities. It connects to doors with electric or magnetic locks, enabling unlocking through the Latch system via apps, door codes, or keycards. These always-online devices stay connected via Ethernet and Wi-Fi, capturing a high-resolution picture each time the door is unlocked for enhanced security. Property managers can remotely control access and review access logs. Each Latch R2 lock requires a $5/month subscription, available through email or phone. Compatible with garage doors and elevators, the device requires Ethernet or Wi-Fi, a power source, and interaction with a relay, offering simple management through Latch Mission Control to unlock your building's full potential.
