Assure Lever Keypad with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (YRL216-WF1)

The Assure Lever is a smart door upgrade that allows you to lock/unlock, share access, and track who comes and goes through your door using your app, even when you're not home. With WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, you can use voice assistants like Amazon Alexa, Hey Google, or Siri to lock, unlock, or check the status of your door. Plus, the Assure Lever will automatically unlock as you approach and relock after the door is closed, ensuring that your door is always secure. The Yale Access App allows you to control your door from anywhere, without the need for an additional hub - WiFi Connect is included. Enable Auto-Relock to never worry about whether you forgot to lock your door, as it will always lock behind you.

About Yale Home

Yale Home is the global version of Yale’s smart-lock platform, built on the same underlying technology originally developed by August in the US. Outside North America, the Yale Home app is the main way users manage Yale smart locks, but behind the scenes it still uses the same cloud infrastructure powering August and Yale Access. While the US/Canada versions appear under different names, the platform itself is essentially unified — the differences mostly reflect regional branding and product availability. The only “real” API connected to this ecosystem is still the August Developer API (not publicly open), and Yale Home communicates through that same backend. Confusion arises because Yale also sells products under older or separate ecosystems (like Yale Connect / Smart Living), which do not use this shared August-based cloud. As a result, some locks are permanently tied to one ecosystem, while many newer models can switch ecosystems by inserting different smart modules — but modern Yale Home products are all powered by the same core platform that drives Yale Access and August in the US.
