# Sandbox UniFi Protect Cameras

> Add a virtual UniFi Protect console and cameras to your Seam sandbox workspace using these sample Seam Bridge and console credentials to test your integration without real hardware.

Use the following credentials to add a virtual [UniFi Protect console](https://www.seam.co/docs/device-and-system-integration-guides/unifi-protect-cameras.md) and its cameras to your Seam [sandbox workspace](https://www.seam.co/docs/core-concepts/workspaces.md#sandbox-workspaces). Your Connect Webview must include `unifi_protect` in its `accepted_providers` list.

## Sandbox Seam Bridge Connection

You don't need to install Seam Bridge in a sandbox workspace. Continue past the Seam Bridge instructions. The Connect Webview prefills a sandbox pairing code, so submit it as is.

## UniFi Protect Console Credentials

| Console Address | HTTPS Port | Protect API Key | Local User | Local User Password |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| unifi.test | 443 | unifi-protect-test-api-key | protect-viewer | protect-viewer-password |

The local username and password are optional. Enter them to test connecting with a local-only user, or leave them empty to connect without event clips.

To see the error that Seam shows for a UniFi cloud account, enter the following local user instead:

| Local User | Local User Password |
| - | - |
| protect-cloud-user | protect-cloud-password |

This user simulates a UniFi cloud account that requires multi-factor authentication. The Connect Webview shows "This is a UniFi cloud account. Create a local-only user with View Only Protect access."

## Sandbox Cameras

The sandbox workspace then includes two virtual cameras with the `unifi_protect_camera` device type:

* **Front Door**
* **Garage**

The sandbox live view plays a test pattern instead of real video.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Test motion events, event clips, and live video from a real camera by connecting a real UniFi console in a non-sandbox workspace.
